CLF originally assumed that the Regional Equity Atlas 2.0 would stand alone as an online, interactive mapping tool with an accompanying summary report. However, as the mapping tool neared completion, it became clear that users would need help navigating the tool and understanding how to build and interpret the maps. CLF also realized that many users would want access to pre-developed maps accompanied by interpretive text. CLF designed the interpretive website to provide users with access to the Regional Equity Atlas 2.0 maps and analysis along with supplemental information to support CLF’s broader policy change goals. The website includes:
-
Information about the project
-
A summary of key findings
-
A gallery of maps and analysis of findings
-
A link to the online mapping tool
-
User guides and tutorials for the online mapping tool
-
A white paper series with in-depth analysis of key topics
-
A gallery of photos and videos that tell the stories behind the maps
-
Detailed information on the indicators
-
Supplementary data and maps
-
Information about workshops, trainings, and other ways to get involved
-
An inquiries page to find out how the Regional Equity Atlas 2.0 can support stakeholders’ work
-
