Acknowledgements

Project Director

Kris Smock, Kristina Smock Consulting.

While the Equity Atlas involved the work of many people, our greatest thanks go to Kris Smock.  Kris developed the strategic direction and managed the many complex elements involved in creating the Equity Atlas with extraordinary dedication and skill.

Partnerships

The Regional Equity Atlas 2.0 is a collaborative effort involving numerous public and private partners. CLF’s primary partners on the project are Metro, the Portland metro area’s regional government, Portland State University’s Institute of Portland Metropolitan Studies, and Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation.  Metro developed the mapping tool and provided technical expertise. PSU provided methodological expertise and played a lead role in the preparation of data for the mapping tool. Quality Corporation provided data and expertise on health care and health outcomes.

Special thanks to Clint Chiavarini, Ted Reid, and Ben Sainsbury at Metro, to Meg Merrick and Andree Tremoulet at Portland State University, and to Summer Boslaugh at Quality Corporation.
