CLF announces photo contest winners

The winners of CLF's "What Makes Your Community Great?" photo contest are Mike Houck, Matt Fisher, and Kasandra Griffin. Sandy Carter and Matthew Webber received honorable mentions.
Thank you to everyone who participate in our first-ever photo contest! We were looking for photos that capture the people and places that make the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area great. And we found them. More than 50 photos were entered. Here are the winners. Click on photos to view larger versions.

Sandy writes, "This photo is of the new dock in Oregon City and the Belle of the
Falls tour boat, preparing to take a new group of sightseers up to see the
Falls, while shad-fishing boats dot the Clackamas Rapids downstream."


Honorable Mention
Chickens, by Matthew Webber of SE Portland

Matt writes, "This photo was taken while bike riding in my neighborhood in SE Portland. It seems more and more folks are adopting chickens, and here is a young girl playing hide and seek with a few of them."
