What makes your community great? Photo Contest

Enter your photos that showcase the people and places that make the greater Portland metropolitan area such a fabulous place to live. Deadline has been extended to Sep.19, 2005.
The Coalition for a Livable Future invites you to enter your photos that show what makes your community great.

We are looking for photos that capture the people and places theat make our metropolitan area such a fabulous place to live. Photos taken in Washington, Clackamas, and Clark Counties are especially encouraged.

Three prizes will be awarded


Overall favorite photo:

20” X 30” framed poster print of the winning photo, donated by Ritz Camera Centers, and a $25 gift certificate and 50 free digital prints from The Shutterbug.

Favorite place photo:
20” X 30” framed poster print of the winning photo, donated by Ritz Camera Centers, and a camera bag from Suburban Photo.

Favorite people photo:
20” X 30” framed poster print of the winning photo, donated by Ritz Camera Centers, and a camera bag from Camera Works NW.

Contest Rules


How to submit a photo:
You may submit prints or digital photos (digital files preferred). No negatives or slides, please. Include the photographer’s name, mailing address, email, phone number, and the photo location or description. Email photos to info@clfuture.org, or mail prints or CDs to:

Photos must be received by 5 p.m., September 19, 2005.
Winners will be notified within three weeks of the contest deadline.

Photos will not be returned. By submitting a photo, you give the Coalition for a Livable Future permission to publish your photo on its website and in its publications. You may submit as many photos as you like.

Technical specifications: Photos may be in color or black and white. Prints should be at least 3” x 5”. JPEG (.jpg) is the preferred format for digital files. Digital photos should be of high quality, and at least 400 pixels wide.

Winning photos will be posted here on our website.
