Summit 2010 Volunteer Needs

Volunteering at the Summit is a great way to get connected to the work CLF is doing in our region and to meet people from many different sectors and areas of expertise, all working to advance equity and sustainability in our region. If you can help with any of the following activities please contact Kathy at kathy@clfuture.org or 503-294-2889.

Sponsor Reception - April 28th - 4:00 - 8:30 pm - Help with set up for the reception, attending to food and drinks during the event, taking pictures, clean up, etc.

Kitchen Lunch Crew on April 29 - 11 am to 1 pm - The kitchen lunch crew will organize delivery and serving of lunch and kitchen clean up.

Runners on April 29 – Help escort presenters and other participants, deliver supplies and help with set-up and clean-up.

    * Early shift (7:45 am -  noon)
    * Middle Shift (10 am - 2 pm)
    * Late shift (2 pm to 5 pm)

 Tech Support on April 29 – Help set up laptops for Powerpoint presentations and to monitor rooms during the breakout sessions

    * Morning shift (9 am – noon)
    * Afternoon shift (1:15 am – 3:45 pm)

Photographers (noon - 4 pm) – Please bring your own digital camera and any equipment needed to upload your pictures to our laptop.

Note takers – Take notes and prepare a summary for a breakout session.  You can bring your own laptop for note taking or take notes on paper and send CLF the electronic version after the Summit.  To sign up as a note-taker please contact Nicole Powell at nicole@clfuture.org or call her at 503-294-2889.

Transport (Food Pick Up) on April 28 (approx. 3 - 6 pm)  – If you have access to a car/truck, we need transporters to help us  pick up donated food items and bring to the CLF office

Connections Distribution
Help get the word out! Pick up some copies of the latest issue of our journal, Connections, and drop them off at distribution sites in your neighborhood.

LAUGH for Livability Auction
Help organize the silent auction at next year's LAUGH for Livability. Reach out to local businesses, help make the auction displays and more! Email Ron at ron@clfuture.org to help out.

Office Help
We can often use help with mailings, filing, data entry, and making reminder phone calls to our members. Call or email us to pick a time that works for your schedule. There are even some volunteer tasks you can do from home.
