Board of Trustees
CLF's Board of Trustees is elected annually by the core member organizations. Terms of service are two years long, and staggered so half of the board is elected each year. A majority of our board members must represent member organizations, and the board represents the diversity of the Coalition.

Staff
Because the majority of our policy work is carried out by our members, CLF maintains a small staff to coordinate the coalition.
Ron Carley, Co-Director, ron@clfuture.org
Ron joined the CLF staff in 2007 after serving as a founding steering committee member and board member since 1994. Prior to joining the staff, Ron worked for the City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services where he oversaw a stormwater management grants program. For 12 years, he worked for the Audubon Society of Portland as its Urban Conservationist.
Jill Fuglister, Co-Director, jill@clfuture.org
Jill has a Masters of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the
University of Oregon and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of
Notre Dame. Since 1999, she has overseen CLF
programs, managing collaborative projects of CLF members and directing
administrative and fundraising activities of the organization. She has nearly 20 years experience working as staff, board member and volunteer with
various environmental and social justice non-profits.
Mara Gross, Policy Director, mara@clfuture.org
Mara has practiced law in the nonprofit, government and private sectors, and for the last eight years has been a political and social policy advocate. She has advocated on a wide range of issues, and presently much of her work focuses on promoting a sustainable and equitable transportation system. Mara is a graduate of UC Berkeley School
of Law, Boalt Hall, and of
Kathy Hammock, Office

Kathy's background is in
non-profit community health, where she had the honor of serving as
the director of a non-profit health clinic for many years. In
addition to her work with CLF, she is studying Spanish and
volunteering to help Vancouver second graders learn to read and
facilitate a Multnomah County Library conversation session for
English language learners in east county.
Dianne Riley, Equity Agenda Coordinator, dianne@clfuture.org
Dianne joined the CLF team in April 2009 to fill the newly created position of Equity Agenda Coordinator. She will be working primarily to advance the Equity Agenda policy initiatives promoting "Healthy Places, Healthy People and Healthy Process" in the metropolitan region. Prior to joining CLF, Dianne utilized CLF's Regional Equity Atlas as a key part of her graduate work on African American migration and displacement.
